Join MIKE FARRIS,
Home School Legal Defense Association,
and families from around Indiana to support:
Parental Rights and Responsibilities Act
House Bill 1346
Where: State Capitol Building, Indianapolis
When: March 4, 1996 10:00 AM
After the House passed the Parental Rights and Responsibilities Act by
a vote of 70 to 30, a Senate Committee deleted all parental rights
language because they were intimidated by a few special interest
groups who need control over our children to keep their federal
grants! Planned Parenthood, Child Protective services and the
teacher's union are just a few of the groups that oppose parental
rights.
But the Battle for Parents' Rights is Not Over !
Families will march on the Capitol making their voices heard while the
Senate is still in session. There is still time to return this bill to
its original form, with the parental rights language included.
However, to win this battle, families must rally together, sending
the Indiana State Legislature this message:
It does NOT take a village to raise a child, just PARENTS !
Bring your children, friends, and neighbors. Don't forget your camera;
you'll want to keep this event alive for years!
Make History on March 4, 1996 !
