Yeah, or I did a search with "FTN" in the tokens to search, and
found what I
was looking for. No, wait, I ended up going to cpan's site and searching JAM
directly there, and found what I wanted. heh. I thought I'd seen it before.
Looking into my thoughts of how to implement PING into hpt or similar, I knew
there were Perl FTN modules, though how good/bad they are I do not know. 

Basically my goal is to add that PING flag to my nodelist entry and actually
rock the support for it. ;)

Course, if anyone wants to help, I won't turn it down. :D
