I'm surprised that there is no logfile entry about that action.

It fits into my oldscool terminal perfectly.

Netmail and echomail are in different controls.
My scan batch is

# start scanner

# scan == echomail - pack == netmail

hpt scan -f /var/spool/flags/echoscan.log
hpt pack -a NETMAIL

Start hpt without parameter to see the a short switch description.

I would check the compress, the routing and the link definition.
