SC:Hi all,
Hi Sharon!
SC: I am sad to report that my second letter to my birthfather
SC:(?) was refused. I may now never meet him and that saddens me. Part
SC:of me says give up but another part (a bigger part) still wants to meet
him.
SC:just don't know what else to do. I just wish the letter would have been
SC:accepted since I enclosed a copy of the picture of him and my mom. At this
SC:point, I don't even know who refused it or why. The first letter I sent
as
SC:sent regular mail, so from the refusal I'm assuming that someone did get
and
SC:read the first letter. It could have even been another family member.
SC: I have some serious thinking to do now. Does anyone have any
SC:ideas for me.
I am so sorry to hear about the results of this last attempt to contact
your b-father. It is hard to say exactly why your letter was refused or
*who* refused it. It is possible that he never saw the first letter.
It is sad to think that he/they could not let you know why it was
refused.
There is another idea that you may want to try. Take your photo and
send it like a post card. That way he/they will see it even if it is
refused. In the message part of the post card write your name and
address. You may even want to include your phone #.
Another idea is to send a letter certified letter that is *restricted*
delivery. Only he can sign for it.
SC: Sitting here with tears in my eyes. :-(
Wipe those tears dear. There are still ways to reach him.
Good luck. Lynn
