I've read about monetization of social media sites. I'm not sure how it
happens, it's not a thing for me. I mean not something I would be interested
in.

I have posted a couple of videos on YouTube about 6 years ago. One of my
granddaughter's 7-8 birthday. She loves singing and performing for an audience.
I rescued some wooden shipping crates from my job that were being thrown away
and made a small stage. A neighbor was a guitar player and had a decent sound
system, so we set up for her to give a concert. I recorded them on my phone and
put them on Youtube for family and friends to see who couldn't be there. She
enjoyed herself, so it was worth it.
That's as far as I would ever go in the "I want to be famous" category, other
than wishing I could have better mixed the audio on it.

Yes. The I want yo be famous syndrome. I can't get into that mindset.
