More than likely an IRQ conflict, altho if that were the case, I'm
surprised you don't also have problems outside of TFW.
My guess is you have an internal modem, probably set at Com3 Irq4,
which is the same IRQ that's used for the mouse. If that's the case,
then you need to move the IRQ of the modem. I would suggest IRQ5, but
if that's in use by the sound card, if you have one, then you'd also
need to move the IRQ of that. I would suggest IRQ10 for that one.
Anyway, before we can advise you correctly, you'll need to provide
some details.
