Yes, the search techniques we use are all legal. But that usually means that
the provision of that information by governments and businesses is voluntary.
At any moment, that information can be removed from public view, if the
providers of that information realize how it can be used. And there is
a huge and powerful community of persons out there who do NOT want to
be found.
The agencies that publish all that good stuff can take it all away.
Do not, therefore, tell what information is used for what purpose; nor
should you even make public the availability of some data.
We can always trade secrets by Internet e-mail or by netmail.
That fall sounds like a Bad Way to end a work day. Why was the sign hot?
I thought that signs did not have energized frames.
(Related story: I once had to trim a tree which had grown around my
service from the pole. The only ladder I had was an aluminum one. A
buddy of mine said it was good choice: my heart would "probably restart"
after hitting the ground. Well, it was funny to us at the time; I'll
probably never see that sort of thing the same way after hearing your
experience.)
Where are you living? There should be local BBS, so that your LD bill
isn't so high.
... The next thing I need to download is a real life.
