Sounds like the trouble you're having with both BW door and Echofix might
be related to some kind of file system/sharing issues.  Perhaps the fact
that all my Fido data is stored on a Netware server so all boxes can see it
is what's made them both work flawlessly here for years.

The worst that happens here is an Abort/Retry/Ignore prompt if Echofix
tries to access an area that is already being accessed by Squish or GoldEd
and hitting R)etry once the other process is done is all that was required.
 I certainly wouldn't continue to use anything that was trashing areas
here, much less recommend it to others.  But if there are unique issues to
HPFS or something similar, it is possible that I just haven't encountered
them in my setup and somebody else who has might chime in.
