Same here on the main machine, other the HDs that is.  Working on it
though, have been for years.  Some of the machines can boot compactflash
disks though and have been picking away at an installation for them, mostly
for ttylinux.  Also am able to use usb flashdisks but don't have a machine
that can directly boot them.  However, other then restore disks, the
flashdisks are great for backups, far better then CDs.

Probably not.  I have been picking away at all this for quite some time now
is all.  Nothing that a huge amount of cash wouldn't help solve.  :-)
