    You might try adding a field of Type N called e.g. Line_number to 
your proposed embedded detail table. You'll have to add code to 
increment this number for each addition item ( don't forget to handle 
line insert & line delete cases ).
   You can then have a composite key of PO Number + Line_Number enabling 
you to embed
