The USR's ATI6 and ATI11 link diagnostics commands are entered off-line,
whilst the ATY11 line probe is entered in on-line command mode (issue +++
first, then return on-line with ATO1).

The most recent connect's link stats will remain stored in RAM until an ATZ
is sent, the modem is powered down, or another call is made or received.
