It's for the hpt Pack and Unpack to use hptzip (a library module that can be
compiled into hpt at compile-time, kind of like the libareafix stuff is done).

Instead of Unpack and Pack being the unzip and zip commands directly, it can
use zipInternal and just use zlib natively without forking out a process to
unzip. Not much, but it's a slight speed improvement even still, despite hpt
already seeming to be blazing fast.

On a side note.. One interesting thing regarding compression and message bases.
Synchronet supports compressing the body of every message in LZH format if you
so choose, so there is /a/ message base format that can compress. heh heh. Just
thought I'd toss that in there since you mentioned /any/ message bases and
compression. :) Just hpt doesn't support Synchronet's smb format, which would
be honestly extremely nice if it did, could be potentially better than
sbbsecho in some respects.
