After VidMgr 1.1 was uploaded to ftp.juge.com, I logged on again about a
day later to check where Bob had moved it to and noticed it had been moved
to the /c directory. Then I announced its location. With the second
release it was just a matter of annoucing its location first on assumption
that it would be replacing the previous archive, and just double-checking
that it had indeed replaced the old archive.
Given that I visit Bob's system quite often via both FTP and Telnet, it
was/is straightforward

If you want to make the a new Msged archive available at Bob's system,
upload it to ftp.juge.com in the /incoming directory. In a short time, Bob
will have hopefully moved it somewhere else. To check where its new
directory location is, download 01062000.new from the /msdos directory. It
contains a list of newly uploaded files to that system in the past
fortnight, where your newly-processed archive should be listed.
Alternatively, you can send the archive to randy{at}snoopy.apana.org using a
MIME-encode or uuencoded file attach, or crash it through to 3:635/727.4,
and I'll distribute it for you.
Regards
Andrew
