Hello, it has been a long time since I have been able to check my E-Mail,
but this messsage definantely caught my attention.  I am a 25 year old
person with macular degeneration.  I have been legally blind since birth,
and have often wondered if I may also have ROP.  I was born prematurely,
and diagnosed with congenital myopia.  I was told that the macular
degeneration was caused by my being so severly nearsighted for such a long
period of time.  I anyone has an opinion on this I would appreciate a
reply.  Thanks.
