If it's a generic or W-class AC with Australian defaults then there's not a lot you need to do. For BBS setup, you'll probably want %C2 to disable MNP5. Rockwell have not released a V.34+ datapump at this time and probably will not until the ITU-T ratifies the extensions to V.34. In any case, your modem will use the QFP or PLCC package chip soldered directly to the mainboard. Rework of this sort of equipment is possible, but complicated. Your modem is not really upgradable short of a motherboard replacement. RM> Do you own a Roadster 28.8? Nope.
