From: "CSC" To: "Atm" Reply-To: "CSC" I see very little turned edge, and the diffraction effect at the edge makes it difficult to tell the direction. Most of my mirrors come off the machine at first looking like yours, and I think you have an oblate spheroid with a turned UP edge. Do you get a diffraction edge when you use Foucault? The hairline ring of light even on the dark half? That is the first indication that the edge is going to be alright. Believe me it will change before you are polished. Proceed. Colin It looks to me like I currently have an oblate spheroid and a turned edge. I am assuming that as I continue polishing this should even out to a sphere? --- BBBS/NT v4.00 MP* Origin: Email Gate (1:379/1.100) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/1 633/267 |
