There are 3 versions of Paradox for Windows:  1.0, 4.5 and 5.0.  I would not 
use 1.0 for anything -- it was released with a number of problems. 4.5 fixed 
most of them, while 5.0 added some new functionality but may have created 
some new problems as well.
