Hi Carey,
I found it to be unstable at first, but after going through the
configuration a bit, have found it to be at least as stable as DR-DOS
6.0, but without the clipboard functions.
The following are my autoexec.bat and config.sys files:
@ECHO Off
PATH C:\OPENDOS;C:\;C:\GEOS20;C:\PPOINT;C:\RIPTERM;C:\DOSARC\PKWARE;C:\MOUSE;
CD IBMAV
IBMAVSP C: -LOG -PROGRAMS
CD\
NWCACHE 512 512 /LEND=OFF /DELAY=OFF
VERIFY OFF
PROMPT $P$G
DISKMAP C:
SET TEMP=C:\TEMP
IF NOT DIREXIST %TEMP% MD %TEMP%
SET OPENDOSCFG=C:\OPENDOS
SHARE /L:100
REM MOUSE NOVCI
TASKMGR /S
REM GEOS20
DEVICE=C:\OPENDOS\EMM386.EXE DPMI=OFF FRAME=NONE
DEVICE=C:\OPENDOS\DPMS.EXE
DEVICE=C:\OPENDOS\SETVER.EXE
SHELL=C:\COMMAND.COM C:\ /E:512 /P
BREAK=OFF
BUFFERS=30
FILES=120
FCBS=4,4
LASTDRIVE=C
HISTORY=ON,512,ON
COUNTRY=1,,C:\OPENDOS\COUNTRY.SYS
DOS=HIGH,UMB
DEVICEHIGH=C:\MOUSE\MOUSE.SYS
DEVICEHIGH=C:\OPENDOS\ANSI.SYS
DEVICEHIGH=C:\OPENDOS\POWER.EXE
This is the setup that works well for me right now. The DPMI seems to
be the part that caused the most problems when it was set to "ON".

Stephen
