BWREPFIX is only a reader fix for the Bluewave reader and each user needs
to use it.  Squish will still skip over messages with grunged dates that
were uploaded from unfixed readers (Bluewave, compatible, or otherwise) and
not scan them out.  You get one "grunged date" message in the log
on the 1st pass and nothing further afterwards.

Echofixd by William McBrine is what I use to repair the messages in the
Squishbase...regardless of what route they got there.  In Feb, you said you
found it in the stuff you got from Gary (came through MAXUTIL as
ECHOFIX3.ZIP) Caveats are that it is DOS .EXE only and you need to repair
the bad dates before Squish scans and moves the highwater mark past the
offending message.
