 RW> How about a little (<-- key word LITTLE, I don't want

RW> on a good CB? Either brand or one model in particular.
My "mobile command post" :) has a cobra 31+, 6 channels that can be
preset like your am/fm radio, and weather reception. It is about the size
of a PRO-2026 scanner. Simple to use, good quality sound and just an all
around good radio.
RW> And to go with a CB I'll need an antenna. What you
RW> recommend? I'd like a mag mount so... Also would I
RW> need to place it on one end of the van and my SCANNER
RW> antenna (trying for topic again, Bill ) on the

I have a K-40 Mag mount hooked up to the cb, it sits in the middle of the
cab of the pickup and a 2m/440 larsen on the left side and a commercial
larsen 150/450 on the right side (scanner and commercial ht when a little
'extra' is needed.
RW> I'll get some bled over if I'm scanning any of the AM
 RW> freqs but I don't know.
Maybe, but even my AM/FM radio doesn't pick up the CB thru the speakers...
just be careful about where you run the coax to keep bleedover problems down.
Keying the CB will do strange intermod things with the 2006 that is
sitting on top of the CB, but when your talking it doesn't really make that
much difference.
I'm trying to stay on topic by helping you add into your scanner listening
post :)
