I'm bored with Netscape so thought I'd just insert this item of priceless knowledge. I have a very complex 1-line REXX CMD file. Start it with LAUNCH in IBMWORKS. Wrote another equally complex REXX CMD file - 1-liner. Ditto LAUNCH. One procedure launches OK but the other doesn't. Eventually narrowed down the only difference, apart from the name, to the fact the the PROC with its very own ICON was the one that wouldn't launch. Sure enough, put it back to the standard icon and no problems. Was Os/2 smart enough to work out that the icon was not really a good representation? Did it think the icon was a dirty picture? Or is this just a case of Quantum Mechanics in operation? I guess the moral is - don't waste time desiging icons; get to work!
