The original quote was a little messed up.  Did he mean "rifle" barrels
or "rifled" barrels (he used rifeled which has no meaning that I am
aware of).  Did he mean "rifle" as in 18" or more, or did he mean
"rifled" as in land and grooves that give the twist to bullets?
So, were you agreeing to rifle barrels or rifled barrels?  Don't know
if a Gatling gun with pistol barrels is legal or not.  
Several years ago a guy from California came to a shoot in Oregon towing
a Gatling gun uncovered on a flat bed trailer.  He had a "lot" of interest
from the local police until they checked him out and found out it was legal.
