Way ahead of you, my man! I don't have it anymore, but I used to have
a Ibanez Soundgear fretless with a marked neck. They didn't have one without
the markers and I was ready to buy, if you know what I mean. It had active
electronics, and it seems I can't live without them (only on a bass, though)
anymore. I like the control over my volume that I get with a preamp.
