I've not tried anything yet, as I've been  busy painting the ceiling in the
attic!! Tomorrow we put up wallpaper!

Errrmmmm. I'm trying to get it to work with Textpad not Pedit. But the
principle would be the same. Could you expand a little.... Multimail doesn't
have a "default folder" as such, merely a home directory. Do you
mean something
like textpad.lnk in multimail's home directory?
