This sounds right.  The leaves got yukky almost as soon as they came up
out of the ground.  No time for insect damage.  I've been watching and
the problem doesn't seem to be progressing.  I think I may get beans,
but they still have a way to go before that.  No flowers yet.  I'll have
to wait and see.
