That's quite an ASSumption there.  Of course I don't "crave" that.

Oh, and as for the "few years"...  Let's go back say... 40 years:

80-88:  Reagan
88-92:  Bush Sr.
92-00:  Clinton
00-08:  Bush Jr.
08-16:  Obama
16-20:  Trump

So....  That's 24 to 16 years in favor of the Republicans.  That's 
a 60% to 40% ratio.  Still what you would call a "few years"?

It's also 4 out of the last 6 Presidents were Republicans.  That's 
a 67% to 33% ratio, or "2 to 1" if you prefer.
