    That's rewarding work when she succeeds, but it's horribly difficult.
Few have the patience or sensitivity for it.

    Been playing with html, javascript, the new java (1.4.2) and asp.net
recently. I have all the time in the world, so I'm taking it easy. Replaced
the 16 bit Microsoft C with Digital Mars C, but still using Visual Studio 6
for Windows. DMC is fun. :-)

    The new computer seems to have got past its early teething troubles and
appears to be solid and stable now.
