Hark! Did Will Honea whisper to Edmund Wong about:
WH> I went one step further - booted NT 4 and downloaded all 12.6 meg
WH> of NS4.01. just to give it a fair shot. After it gobbled 27+ meg
WH> of the drive to install (Hey, I can do a min install of Warp 3 in
WH> not too much more!) I also found it slower than molasses. The new
WH> features did zip for me over what the current NS2 v.2.01 does in
WH> OS/2. I have little forseeable use for the conferencing and so
That is one thing I _DIDN'T_ like about that Communicator BS..
I just wish I was given the option of whether or not to install any
of those four options in Communicator. So what I hope is Netscape
staying with the old interface in Netscape/2 v4.
WH> forth. I do like the HTML editor, tho. Then you get to the 'push'
WH> client and I say enough, already! Mush as I hate to say it, I
WH> found IE to be preferable here also.
IE's much faster at loading too. I don't know what Netscape's loading
in the memory but it bites.
WH> Caveat: suites are not my favorite life form. Give me lean, trim
WH> programs that do specific tasks VERY well and let me worry about
WH> which I want when and where!
I agree with you 100%..
Take Care
Edmund
