Yeah...creating divisions yields the dotted names. You have a division
named FIDO that contains an area named MUFFIN and an area named BLUEWAVE.

You said you were using 3.20 DOS and 3.2x door is the only one that read
Max 3.x format files (only).  I installed both DOS and OS2, but have mainly
focussed on DOS, hoping to recreate your issue with "no valid
areas".

My own BBS is Max 2.x, so I must use the earlier door versions (3.0x/3.1x)
for production use.
