| subject: | I`ve Been Quite Quite |
No ones has heard anything from me since Saturday May 02, 2015 because it was decided that the 'window' behind the hutch on my computer desk needed to be cleaned. After the desk was moved so the 'cleaning lady' could do her job, it was suggested that moving the desk (with the hutch on it) to another wall where the 'windows' wouldn't be blocked by it would make cleaning 'windows' the next time the job was needed a lot easier, so I agreed. "I" had the idea of disconnecting everything from the computer, since the other pieces of furniture in the room would have to be moved also, some of which had some 'computer items' i.e. Monitor, AIO Printer, etc. sitting on them. The 'windows' got cleaned, and it was decided that moving 'my' desk wouldn't work as it was thought, so the desk got moved back to its original place. Now I found out I had a problem because a bunch of the 'wall warts' I had disconnected didn't have the Brand Name of the item that it goes to printed on them. After much head scratching, and the decision to put a piece of Scotch brand Re-Lable Tape, that is used to label Video Tapes, Floppy Disks, etc., on each Wall Wart, and writing on the tape what piece of gear needs that certain Wall Wart to make it operate. Plus also from my experience of using that Re-Label Tape on 5 1/4 inch floppy disks, that said labels 'CAN' come off what it was put on, I covered the labels with Transparent Tape so the label would stay where I put it, and also the name wouldn't get smeared. The Quite Time has ended, I'm Back! Now to catch up reading the messages everybody has written since last Saturday. ...
