Indeed Gary, it's a bunch of ill-informed little fiefdoms all across the
US, whose ears are influenced by the environmentalists, that brings us all
the mixes of gas to save us from ourselves -- all it really does is bollix
up the distribution and cause localized shortages and price spikes in those
same areas. The best thing that could happen is for the Feds to override
all their crap and make it one mix for all, like it was before the wackos
got out of control.

Let's take the most dimbulb, supposedly most "environmentally
friendly" current mix (that'd be the LA mix most likely (or do the SF
people have the prize at the moment?), and make it the norm nationwide.
That way the fiefdom that created that "best" mix has no friggin
leg to stand on in protest -- and they'll scream like stuffed pigs anyway
