i don't know that anyone expected or planned that it would... some things
just have to come first, though...

i'm not sure what methods you have used in the past... the TLE postings i
know can be pulled from several sources... the spacetrack site being one...
celestrak being another... there're other sites that also offer TLEs,
too...

it is easy to pull the desired ones (by NORAD# or COSPAR) and assign
whatever common name is desired to them... i wrote a bit of software that
merges and splits libraries of TLEs... it replaces an older bit of kit that
took 30+ minutes and has the old 64K memory limits... as a result, it loses
a lot of the available TLEs if one is trying to process the available
~16000 that are available... my program has no trouble with processing this
amount of entries and it does it all in less than 60 seconds ;) 

FWIW: my system does pull and process the AMSAT releases but most of the
time their data is already older than what has been gathered from other TLE
sites... if you like, i can see about posting them to you when they are
