As I recall, and it goes back quite some time, to the time when Satti
asked me to look after the z6 zonegating from here (and also getting
echomail in/out of Z6), he specifically asked me to do what I could to link
the ZC6 to the ZCC echo. I did so, and when the then-ZC6 retired, I
believe that there was a time when there were three different people were
doing the job of ZC6 (sort of a committee). I was able to set up a link
with (as I recall) two of 'em. Now there's only one, Anatoli.

I *was* asked to link Bin Li, because he's ZC6 in the nodelist, but was
unable to do so. I'd say that Janis was able to do what I was unable to -
so what, at least he's linked. I see no problem there, do you?

Satti left sometime in 2000, didn't he? Not sure about Bin Li as ZC6.
I do know that Anatoli Tung was around when Satti was still ZC1 (Moufarrege
took over in Sept 1999), and doing what he could to look after the Z6
nodelist segment.

It's been this way since day one, and I forsee no change in the future.
And I don't need or want an echolist to determine the (in my opinion)
rightful 'owner' of privately linked echos, 99.9% of the time it's the
person or position that asked me to transport it in the first place.
Remember ZCC-PUBLIC and Moravsik? I was one of those who told him that I
transported _your_ echo of that tag, not his, and was technically unable to
transport two echos of the same tag, thus was unable/unwilling to accept
his 'moderator requests'.

I believe that Anatoli or Lawrence Fan was linking Bin Li. I could
easily be wrong, Anatoli's English is not that great (I don't recall
chatting with Lawrence), and my only other language (French) is useless in
Z6. Anatoli bounces between Vietnam and Russia.
