I installed in a windowed Win-OS/2 session with no problems, a couple of
times or so, when I upgraded the OS (I do a clean wipe and install, which
wipes out WIN.INI to help clean out any accumulated lines that aren't
required), where it is easier than manually setting it up. FWIW I'm using
v2.0c. I think my last Excel version was v3 (it is no longer there, as I'm
using 123 for OS/2). I have no recollection of doing anything special; I
expected it to install preoperly, and it did.
