subject: MACRO NEEDED - USE AUTOTE

I was wrong. There is a field called CREATEDATE. Access it by using the
Insert Field option. You can record a macro and assign it to a toolbar
button to make this function easy to accomplish.
The reason we had not used it before is because we are using templates for
commonly used documents. There seems to be a bug in the use of this field
from a template. When we create a document based on a template with
CREATEDATE field in it, the field does not update, unless you do it manually.
This defeated the purpose of automating it to begin with. So we chose the
autonew macro approach that inserted hard date text, instead.
