It's fairly normal when there's an election for there to be a cabinet
shuffle. There's a "new" government, even if it's the old party,
and the party in power often tends to want to put a new face on it.

Yes. Most notably David Pratt, Minister of Defence. Heritage Minister
Helene Scherrer, Revenue Minister Stan Keyes, Agriculture Minister Bob
Speller, and Junior Economic Minister of State Gar Knutson also lost their
seats.
