And yet every SPECIFIC fund we've discussed has oilcos rated
"BUY", making the COLLECTIVE consensus exactly what you thought
it would be if institutional investors expected EXTRAORDINARY profits.

Here are some some consensus brokerage recommendations for the big five
integrated oils. Sorry for the formatting.  I got the info from (searching
on each company in turn):

As you can see, all but Royal Dutch, which is still trying to regain
investor confidence after having been caught drastically overstating
reserves, are very highly regarded, as you suspected they would be if the
expectations for EXTRAORDINARY profit were there. Good call.
