As far as the TNG series movies are concerned: First Contact is far better than Generations is. But, I think as far as all of them together are concerned, I think that Generations is the worst out of the whole lot of eight done so far. Though, with Generations, there are a few segment that work great in and of themselves, and then there are segments that don't work at all in and of themselves. When all of it is thrown together ... it just didn't work quite right for some strange reason. Too many completely different story threads that really don't have much to do with each other and/or are probably not really needed in the first place and/or distract from the main plot. The problems with Generations were not the actors' and actresses' fault, it was the fault of the writers mostly.
