The Windows 2000 Support Tools has DiskProbe (DiskProbe.exe) a sector
editor that can be used to save the master boot record and partition boot
sectors to a file.

The Support tools are included on the Windows 2000 Professional
installation media. The support tools setup is located on the Win2k CD in
the "\SUPPORT\TOOLS\" directory.

Check it out... there's some cool utils in there. :-)
