That is certainly correct, however, I'd still say that for the most part
56K is for the web. By far the primary reason for buying modems and ISDN TA's
today is to access the web, it is the driving force behind almost all modem
purchases today and that goes even more for 56K. Also, there's nothing
keeping those people providing X2 connects via their ISDN connection from
providing access to the web (that's what I would do if I went to the trouble
of providing 56K connections for my own BBS!).
