I started an intensive study of functions today. I know, intellectually,
how important it is to ground one's self in the basics of the language. Just
need to learn it emotionally!
Our MD generalist told my wife with some controlled frustration in his
tone of voice that she "had too many doctors!" I probably have "too many
books!" While I've expressed some enthusiam for a couple of them I'm finding
that the most thorough for the untrained in C++ seems to be Robert Lafore's
_Object Oriented Programming in Turbo C++_. A little further along and I
might invest in version 4.5 of the compiler.
I added the int main(void) to your altered code for the Calc class and
compiled it for a workable program. I hope this is helping other novices who
might be lurking here also.
Sincerely,
Frank
