Hi Barbara, glad you got the ENCORE Newsletter.  I think it's very well
done, myself.  To answer your question, I attend ENCORE in Baltimore
the first Sunday of each month, CUB (DC Metro) the 4th Sunday of each
month, ABSN (Adoptee Birthparents Support Network) which meets in
Northern Virginia and Maryland alternating every other month on the 2nd
Sunday and Adoptee Birthparent Connection in Myersville, MD (near
Frederick) the 4th Wednesday of each month. That leaves one Sunday
free.  But, I really get a lot out of those meetings and also feel that
I am able to give back to those who are in a place where I have been or
get help from those who are in a place where I am going!
You mentioned recognizing the name Jean Stewart.  She is a birthmom who
was found by her birthson Martin.  Martin lives in Manassas with his
wife and two children.  He and Jean have a very good relationship and
have been reunited for about four years.  Jean is very involved with
helping adoptees and birthparents in their efforts to search in the DC
metro area.  She is an absolute angel and is so sympathetic to those
who reach out for emotional ad search help.

Adoptees Info Exchange and will be able to help those who ask and need
your help.
