subject: Win 9x web browser questi

In a message dated 11-01-09, Mike Powell said to All:

Hi Mike,

MP>Seamonkey dropped support for Win 9x when version 2.0 recently
MP>became the release version. Are there any other secure,
MP>fairly-lightweight, still supported web browsers out there for the
MP>Win 9x family?

Opera is a lightweight browser that I favor. I don't know about Win 9
versions but you may check at: http://www.opera.com/download

Opera is quite secure because it's not very much used but it's my
favourite.

I use the OS/2 version under OS/2 and have not had any intrusions.
I do also use the old Netscape v2.02 under OS/2 Warp 4 without any
problems.

Since may 2005 I have a hotmail address in the browsers and my real
e-mail address ONLY in the mail program (PMMail). That saves me from
problems too.

Have a nice day,

Holger
