It appears Intuit has done some thinking about the scheme they used for
activation. I don't expect them to go back to pre-2002 software (no
activation) but they will probably use a less intrusive method much like
MS uses for Office XP and the XP OS. However, unless they remove
activation altogether they also lost me as a customer.
