I care, so I read this mail from Cees Schouten...

SS> Hey everybody, I was bored the other night and I felt like making
SS> fun of "hAkkErZ" so I made this macro that will convert a normal
SS> text file into a text file with "ElItE" sty;e highbit writing. It
SS> maps itself to Alt-F12, so you'll need enhanced keyboard checking
SS> turned on. Btw, it's for Qedit 3.0.
 CS> Great!
heh.. did you like it?
SS> I uuencoded it so it didn't screw up fidonet, because it has some
 SS> highbit in it.
 CS> Good boy... ;-))
Thanks, that's me, the conscientious sysop.. :)
CS> BUT... I didn't know how to work with that macro stuff until right
CS> now. I had to figure it out and I did. Need stuff!! Can't do it right
CS> now coz' I'm working with Boxer/2 here as an external editor for
CS> timEd; still have to register my (external) editor and QEdit/2 isn't
 CS> shareware.
CS> Now I know how to work with macro's under QEdit I really don't know
CS> which one to register: QEdit/2 or Boxer/2... think Boxer is
CS> cheaper... :) But do you have any more of this fancy stuff?
If you want some GREAT Qedit macros, FREQ QPACK10.UC2 from 1:342/1022, it's a
collection I have .. err.. collected over the past year and a half of so..
great stuff in there.  It's really easy for you to write macros, by the way;
just turn on Macro Recording from the Macro Menu in QEDIT, pick a hotkey for
it, and do something you want to have automated in the future. Easy stuff.
But I would reccomend you checked out QPack10.Uc2 from my BBS for a lot of
great Qedit customiztion stuff.
re Qedit vs. Boxer : it's personal preference.. I personally haven't even
tried Boxer, since I fell in love with QEdit the day I downloaded version
.08
off a BBS long, long ago.:)
