On the other hand, FP22 worked well with my system until I decided to
run WPtools18 (checkini). Somthing in the structure of the .ini files
must have changed from FP17 to FP22. Fortunately, I had a backup, and
was able to get back to a workable system. Later, I tried the MAKEINI,
but that was also a disaster. Again, my backup saved me. After I
stopped fooling around with the .ini files, it was very stable up until
the day I installed Warp 4.0. I am just now getting to the same level
of stablility with Warp 4.0 that I had with Warp 3.0 (FP22). I found
that the Config.Sys file likes to be left in the order it was when it
was installed. In other words, using Config Sort to make it more
readable also affected performance for the worse. I put things back the
way they were, and the system is stable and my CD player app doesn't
exit out after a few seconds of playing anymore. (a side effect of the
sort).
