>>> I have warp 3 running with winfax 4, Maximus 3.01 local >>> node, Maximus dial in node 2, maximus dial in node 3, >>> Terminate 4, all running in Full screen Mode. CW>> How many are DOS applications? > One....Just Terminate4 > Otherwise Exactly as above.... nothing else > It is suppose to be a dedicated BBS machine CW>> How much memory in the box? > 16meg CW>> What CPU > Overclocked 5x86-133 CW>> speed > 160mhz Sorry can't see anything blatently obvious as the cause from the above. So WinFax4 is an OS/2 app? If it's WIN, lose it. WIN apps come under the DOS app label, though much worse then a normal DOS app. I've just moved my WARP V4 server to PROTECTONLY=Yes. Yes!!.. feel much better now :) Tried it without the DOS app(s)? and at 133mhz instead of 160mhz? DOS apps can often pull 100% cpu load, sometimes cause taskswitch timing problems. Overspeeding CPU's can cause problems that are not immediately obvious. Note that overspeeding the CPU may have increased your ISA/VLB/PCI bus speed, leading to obscure card problems.
