    Yes, What he said!
    Yes, Hayes neither maintains nor moderates this echo in any way.  I
am just a participant here just like everyone else.  The only difference
being that I work for and represent Hayes.

    Hayes does make a few commercially available software packages that
support Hayes and non-Hayes modems  (Smartcom Message Center Pro,
Smartcom Data/Fax Pro, Smartcom II for the Mac are the ones you might
actually see in the stores) though yes, our primary focus is on the
hardware.
Also, I just want to take this opportunity to thank for being our
moderator, I know how 'thankless' a job it can be!  I have run a BBS for
years but I stay away from taking on the moderator jobs in echo
conferences ;)
