You could always write a small TSR to do it. And that way the famililar
three finger salute would work.
A carefully written ASM program shouldn't consume more than 100 bytes or
so. (Get rid of the environment, relocate the resident portion into the
command line area in the PSP and release the original space, etc.)
You might check the fido 80xxx assembly echo. Somebody there might be
willing to do it as a challenge just to see how small they can get it.
