Have you sent your application to Washington, D.C. yet, just

Sounds like something I would do, so don't feel lonely on your
sewing chair!

That happens every time, doesn't it?  And since Tom and I are
such terrible pack rats and save things we will never use, we
are the worst!

We took a bad loss on that though.  It was Tom's IRA from his
retirement account from when he was working before, and it's
all gone now.  For several months we lived on nothing except
what the Lord provided, and He did very well for us.  We are
sure thankful to still have our home!

I'm sure she'll feel better as you get more done, and you are
working on it enough that it will not take too long.  She's
just being like every bride I've ever known of...
This is a great way for her to learn the patience she'll need
when she's married!    Maybe you better not tell *her*
that at this point, though.  No sense discouraging her right off
the bat!  8-)
